Yarn - Elemental Affects Shetland Fingering

This beautiful Shetland wool was grown in Montana, under the watchful eye of master spinner Judith MacKenzie, and spun in the USA. Available in 9 natural sheep hethered shades and 42 hand-dyed colors, this yarn is a fine choice for gloves, mittens, hats, and warm, lightweight sweaters.

With 118 yds (108 m) in a 1 oz skein for $6.00 per skein, this fingering weight knits at 7 to 9 sts per inch.

Order a Shetland naturals color card for $1.50 or an extensive color card with all the colors, natural and dyed, for $25.00. *

(*The colors of this yarn vary from year to year because the colors of the sheep change each year. In addition, the dyed colors will change because the natural colors change and dye lots can't be exactly repeated. Color cards for this yarn are not updated every year so please refer to them for the "intention" of color and not for exact color matching.)

NOTE: Due to the nature of computer monitor settings, colors shown on web may vary from the actual yarn.
