He’ mo Leanan Kilt Hose Kit

These very textured and charming kilt hose were named after a waulking song. Waulking is the tradition of fulling woven fabric to shrink and finish it. Waulking is usually done in a group and singing aids in keeping the work interesting. These kilt hose are specifically designed to be worn with a kilt. Anne offers them in 2 sizes.
They are knit from the top down and are completely covered with intricate cables, knots and other patterning. The turn-down cuff is circled by entwining celtic braids which are mirrored down the front of the leg. The shaping down the back of the leg also has a twining knot, and all of these surrounded by smaller classic cables. Natural white is traditional for these very traditional stockings.
